FAQ
Answers for customers and forwarders
These FAQs update the public positioning for the relaunch and avoid claims that still need product, finance, or legal approval.
What is E-SHAHN?
E-SHAHN is a freight marketplace for businesses that need to request freight quotes, compare forwarder responses, book shipments, and keep shipment records in one place.
Who operates E-SHAHN?
The current planning position is that E-SHAHN is operated by Token139 ApS, a Danish company in Copenhagen. Final corporate and legal wording must be reviewed by counsel before public relaunch.
Which shipment modes does the marketplace support?
The first marketing surface covers air freight, air express, sea FCL, sea LCL, land FTL, land LTL, cargo insurance, and other cargo such as project, event, break-bulk, and RO-RO movements.
Can forwarders join the marketplace?
Forwarder onboarding is part of the marketplace direction. Account approval, eligibility checks, documents, and operating regions must be confirmed before production onboarding opens.
How are quotes compared?
The intended workflow is for customers to submit an enquiry, receive service-provider responses, and compare commercial and operational details before choosing the right shipment option.
Are payments live?
Payment, refund, currency, tax, and provider decisions are not final. Payment-related copy remains placeholder language until finance and legal approval.
How does E-SHAHN handle privacy?
The privacy page describes the GDPR-oriented planning posture for the relaunch. The final notice needs counsel review and must match the deployed app, processors, analytics, support tools, and data retention policy.
Is shipment tracking included?
The product direction includes shipment records and operational visibility. Exact tracking integrations and update sources should be confirmed before launch claims are expanded.
